Yeah they held my car a few years back for rotors and I called my typical mechanic and explained my situation. My mech basically said the guys was holding my car hostage and that I could drive on it and they'd personally come by with a loaner and take my car for me.

Don't buy junk, period. Get Centric or a brand that car manufacturers install on the production line, like Bosch, Akebono, Bendix, Raybestos, ACDelco/Delphi, Motorcraft, Wagner, Monroe.
