Now out of all options out there, I jave settled with Meyle HD. 20k km later still ok. NVH is indeed slightly higher compared to new malaysia lemförder but really minimal.
Reviews of MEYLE parts For Business
Germany
I've swapped out the control arms for Meyle HD ones. Solid forged aluminium instead of hollow steel.
I've had a Meyle expansion tank in for the last 3 years. No problems yet.
And what about meyle I have them install in the car since last summer first time replacing and did a evaporate clean . I have to say the meyle ar very good no smell and some active Cole filter also . Not very expensive but okay price ! They ad a great established name in aftermarket …. Some meyle upper control arms … anyone. .
I've bought brake pads and I'm very satisfied, very good quality, silent, better braking performance than oe and have shims, whereas the others don't.
I use meyle for bushings and nothing else. Most of the posts recommending them are old and before they made everything in china
I had issues with the bottom nuts on the ball joints. Meyle joints. They came loose, I got oem nuts instead of what they came with and alignment been good.
I removed the Meyle filter. There was no rust inside, nor in the fittings, luckily. The shell was heavily corroded. Edit: There was a corrosion in the fitting, on the rib where clip holds, not inside of a fuel part.
I put Meyle HD lower arms on my Z3 two years ago, and this week I've noticed a slight clunking from the front. I've done around 6k in the last two years so perhaps the quality is deteriorating.
I bought a new set of Meyle rubber bushings for control arms, waiting to be installed. Not yet but soon (but MOT pass last month). Also I bought a Meyle fuel filter 5-6 years ago, to replace the OE aluminium fuel filter that developed corrosion in the fitting. Meyle fuel filter is made out of steel and rusts like crazy under the car.
