Everything went together without much issue. I used a Luk OEM dual mass flywheel along with the TT-RS disc and pressure plate. Had to drill out the holes for the dowels on the pressure plate just a bit but other than that, no surprises.

I recently replaced the flywheel and clutch in my '09 135i with an exedy kit which ended up just being repackaged Luk components. The old one was also a Luk and identical to the new one. I think most "aftermarket" kits just repackage the Luk flywheels or machine their own single mass ones. Only had it for a month, so can't judge longevity.
A single mass is a good replacement for the garbage DMF. you will get a lot more clutch chatter (especially noticeable idling in neutral), but a much more reliable part, and better rev response due to lower weight.
I went with the LUK clutch and Luk dual mass Flywheel and i have experienced a ton of problems with the fly wheel ever since this process has began and I am about to have to go with an OEM part.
I have not personally tried them myself, but have read that they are good OEM flywheels.
