A good option for budget minded summer tires is the Kumho SPT. Long life treadwear rating and decent performance at a great price.

Just put 'em on this weekend. ASA AR2 18x8 wheels from the Tire Rack. Tires are Kumho SPT. They look great in person, especially for the money.

205 45 16 has a little stretch on a 8" wheel. 195 has a lot of stretch. tires are kumho ecsta 712's BTW.

I liked PS2, it was pretty durable as well. Kumho mx was a pretty good deal for 225/40/18. Grip was good for the price, though a little weak on wet surface.

no way man i had the khumo 712 xtas and they SUCKED!! they didnt get traction at all, they just wheel hopped everytime off the rip. then i get new wheels and tires, with Nitto's on them... and i havent had any wheel hop. they get great traction, instead of hop i now get the little squall.. but the car is moving not sittin still beatin the crap out of my car.

The Victoracers are pretty good and work well if the track conditions don't get too hot. Otherwise, they get just a bit greasy but still a good tire overall.

To me 36 psi seems too low. The tires just sit too low. I run 40psi all around on my KUMHO ECSTA 711's.

Kumho Ecsta Supra 712... I love these tires. I can turn as quick and sharp as a want and they havnt lost grip yet. So i say two thumbs up.
