We had Kumhos on the first ID4 for 2-3000 miles and they seemed perfectly fine to me.
Have the stock kumhos from vw which to my knowledge are not the ev specific kumhos that are out now. 17k miles and 0 issues, plenty of tread left. Quiet, ride nice, and do well in rain/deep snow. Definitely recommend them.
It seems the Kumho scores higher in wet conditions, while the dry performance is quite similar to the Toyo.
HS52 is pretty solid, given the recent balance between Kumho and Toyo I would expect it to outperform the Toyo.
I have used Kumho touring tires on two different BMWs and I thought they were great for a mid priced tire.
Have the Kumho Ecsta, standard fitted here in the Netherlands. Have to say they are very silent and durable. Drove approx 37k km with them. Have also Continental Premiumcontact winter/snow tyres. Not bad too.
I literally just got these installed last week and I am really happy with them. Way better grip and quieter than the stock falken tires.
I only buy continentals. I'd advise you do the same. I've had kumhos before but they were meh.
I have a US spec 2022 Wind AWD with 23,000 miles on these Kumho tires. In my less than 9 months of ownership I've had two tires patched from slow leaks and I just had to have the foam lining removed from a tire since it separated from the inner tire wall and created massive vibrations in the steering wheel.
Had Kumhos on my Celica for 4 years and they’ve been pretty decent to be fair, even wear aswell.
