Had one, an 850 Turbo wagon. Even with fancy Koni FSD shocks added, the thing still rode like a garbage truck and spirited cornering was a myth.. and still I loved that damn wagon.

Pros: great 5 cylinder sound
Cons: rode like garbage truck
Vehicle: Volvo 850

I went with Koni Yellows on my TSX and its a daily driver. It does well over bumpy pavement and over railroad tracks.

Pros: handles bumpy pavement well, good over railroad tracks
Vehicle: Acura TSX

I adjusted the rebound (has 2 full turns/720 degrees of adjustability) to a quarter turn from full soft and reused my OEM springs and strut hats. The car rides really well and handles bumps much better after about 100 miles of driving around. It rides firm like a E90 3 series sedan. I do not have complaints about the ride quality and I got to ride over bumpy roads in Dallas and over some railroad tracks over the past few days.

Pros: rides really well, handles bumps better, firm ride
Mileage: 161 km

Just passed the 1,000 mile mark on these and thought I'd share my thoughts on this innovative shock from Koni. Marketed as a "jack-of-all-trades" sport shock with bypass valves for a smooth ride over harsh roads and flatter cornering. Initially, the ride felt slightly firmer than stock, but over time, I noticed it's smoother over bumps and rough jolts. The car feels like a more premium German Sports Car. Big jolts are ironed out noticeably, making it smoother than stock, even if not softer. Slight waves are more noticeable as they don't activate bypass valves. Koni's add stability, preventing the car from being upset by mid-corner bumps. Overall rating on KONI's: 8.5/10. They are somewhat firmer but handle rough roads better and ride "richer" and more premium overall.

Pros: smoother over bumps, improved stability, premium feel
Cons: slightly firmer than stock, subtle waves noticeable
Mileage: 1600 km

I've been on oranges for years with Eibachs, and they lack somewhat in rebound damping but are otherwise fine.

Pros: otherwise fine
Cons: lack rebound damping

Put a set on this year and was amazed with how much they smooth out the small chatter while still being composed and stiff through corners. I thought my tires were low on air. That’s how much more composed it was through imperfections and bumps/pot holes.

Pros: smooths small chatter, composed in corners

I love my special actives. I got them because I didn\u2019t like the ride after lowering with springs. It instantly felt better than the stock ride. It\u2019s been about 15k and I have no complaints.

Pros: felt better than stock
Cons: lowering with springs
Mileage: 15000 km
