My uppers were trashed on my ranger but my lowers weren’t far behind. A ford ball joint can’t hang with the weather.

I've got a 5.0 Explorer and it's been very reliable. I've replaced some wear items ( ball joints, hubs, tie rod ends, brakes) but parts are pretty cheap and it's easy to work on and they can be found fairly cheap.
