Running red stuff pads and slotted EBC rotors on my daily. Stops fast enough to peel your face off. No noise now that I've rebuilt the calipers and made sure that everything is able to move properly.

Pros: stops fast, no noise

Fresh front brakes, Zimmerman blanks with EBC Bluestuff, hopefully these do better than the yellows. Pedal feel with the Endless fluid was consistent as well.

Pros: pedal feel consistent

I ran EBC Redstuff on my 09 R56 and they were great. Very nice sporty braking but it wasn't overly aggressive and the noise and dust was pretty low. Made for a great daily driver with better than stock braking.

Pros: sporty braking, low noise
Cons: low dust
Vehicle: MINI

I run yellow stuffs on my F55 S. It’s a daily but I also canyon carve. Compared to OEM, I’m extremely happy with the performance and brake feel.

If you are looking for high performance, I can vouch for EBC Yellowstuff and Bluestuff NDX. Yellowstuff is a good high performance street pad. no noise even in cold including down to -29 deg C. There is some squeal if the car has sat in the rain the first time you touch the brake pedal but its quiet after. the pads have really strong bite and sustain heat fairly well but wear down rather quickly if you are doing track days. mine lasted 20,000 kms including 6 track days and 4 autoX events. under road driving conditions only, they last much longer. If you want something to last longer and be better suited for track but still be streetable, Bluestuff NDX will do that. they have similar bite to Yellowstuff but sustain higher temperatures and last longer.

Pros: strong bite, good heat sustain
Cons: wears quickly, some squeal when wet
Vehicle: BMW
Mileage: 20000 km

I like EBC greenstuff. No louder than stock, good cold bite, and a little better heat resistance. Good for autocross and street, but they won't hold up on the track. And they don't produce a huge amount of dust, though it is more than oem.

Pros: good cold bite, heat resistance
Cons: won't hold up on track

EBC Reds. I would check the rotors though, because if your pads are thin there’s a very good chance the rotors will need replacing too. In which case you may as well go Zimmerman rotors and EBC reds.

Pros: EBC Reds
Cons: rotors may need replacing

EBC Brake pads

I bought and installed EBC red stuff pads on my stoptech slotted rotors. I also have stainless steel brake lines too. I've had several techs tell me my brakes are fine, but I literally can push the brake pedal to the floor in some cases, including the highway. It stays like that for a while too as I'll be driving at 60+ mph, go to stop and it has a long bit of travel. I will even pump up the brake pedal while at red lights and stop signs just to get some more bite but I feel like I might fuck up the master cylinder doing this enough. The fluid was flushed less than 6 months ago, but I feel like I need to switch to a better pad if this is actually the issue. I felt like my ABS wasn't even going off at one point due to these pads, or that I had some trapped air in my lines.

Cons: Brake pedal goes to the floor, long travel

So I screwed up when I ordered the \"flywheel bolts\" for the trans swap. Reordered the flex plate bolts that would have been for the auto trans I pulled out.

Cons: screwed up order
