I am only running stock and used stainless steel, also have had the DNJ pistons in mine now for about 2 years and they appear to hanging in there at least on stock power. I did switch the rings to Total Seal rings and not DNJ, don't know if that made a difference or not but it felt like a better choice.

Not very good. They tend to be rebuilder quality, at best. The often have a reduced compression height and are nothing really to write home about.
