He fixed it by replacing the ac compressor with a Denso compressor and replacing the condenser as well. No ac issues for the past 8 years.

Denso Spark plug

Replace with OEM - Denso. And yeah, get them from rock auto. Anywhere else is way too expensive and eBay is most likely counterfeit garbage.

Cons: expensive elsewhere

Denso Spark plug

OEM are actually cheaper than a lot of aftermarket plugs. Buy from a place like bell Lexus or just get the denso branded equivalent. They last hundreds of thousands of miles in some cases, so OE has certainly proved its worth

Pros: last hundreds of thousands miles
Cons: cheaper aftermarket plugs
Vehicle: Lexus

Denso Alternator

I bought a reman Denso from NAPA. First one worked but sounded like a rattling box of rocks from the getgo. A week later I swapped it out for another Denso Reman and it has been working fine for 3-4 years now.

Pros: working fine 3-4 years
Cons: first one rattled
Vehicle: Nissan

I ordered a new Denso starter from Amazon for my Honda. It went bad in about 3 months. Fortunately I was beside an auto parts store. I had to buy a new starter to get 100 miles home. The company that I bought the alternator from refused warranty. I had to call Amazon to get a refund.

Cons: failed quickly, warranty issues
Vehicle: Honda

Denso Engine radiator

I ordered a Denso radiator from RA earlier this year. Took my old radiator out of my truck before opening the new one (rookie move, I know). Well one of these fittings was bent/broken on the new one. Called every car parts store, mechanic, and radiator shop within an hour drive and no one had one. Someone finally pointed me towards a hydraulic shop and I had to have a guy there machine a new one for me. Been working without an issue. It was just crazy to me how difficult it was to find such a simple fitting.

Cons: bent/broken fitting, difficult to find replacement
