this happened to me just recently. i bought Windex with vinegar, used a dish scrubbing sponge and wiped them aggressively, and then i installed Bosch evolution blades. no more issues.

If it still streaks you probably need new blades. Bosch are the best IMHO.

Recently replaced my wiper blades and it’s the first time it’s rained since doing so, there is a weird “flutter” as they operate. It’s not a smooth wiper action as it should be. Could they be defective?
