It’s now MHD stage 2 + HPFP and still running strong. I wouldn’t hesitate buying another high mileage B48/B58/S58 car.
Turns out the high pressure fuel pump had disintegrated and the entire fuel system had to be replaced. They tried to blame it on water in the fuel, I didn’t cave, so warranty covered it.
