My water pump went out at 155k, 2006 BMW 325i auto
I’m at 180k, holding strong
My 330i started throwing codes around 135k. Replaced it for peace of mind and it turned out to be the original. I’ve heard somewhere that the water pump used in the 2006 325 and 330i is a bit different and lasts longer
Original water pump, lasted to 167k!
Valve cover gasket was easy, plugs and coils were easy, water pump was shockingly easy. The single "failure" was when the serpentine belt self-destructed.
My experience with the N52 was great honestly. I owned a 2007 328i from 2007-2019 and put over 120,000 miles on it. The only engine issues it had were the water pump failing at 90,000, and the oil filter housing gasket leaking.
It needed a new throttle position sensor which is integrated into the throttle body. There is a cable going to the throttle body, two potentiometers read the angle and help adjust the throttle valve. One or both of those were going bad.
Rear left ABS sensor on the BMW E39. This fucker controls the speedometer and when it fails you're suddenly playing a guessing game at how fast you're going.
BMW OEM rotors after 4 years and 35k miles. Junk build quality now
