This time the shop foreman went through the car soup to nuts again, replaced a fuel rail connector, and the water pump.

2015 B9 A4 3.0TDI. Almost at 200k. Original waterpump and no issue in sight.
Got a 2014 DSG and find around town it’s 22-26 mpg but 35 on long motorway runs.
I specced it when I blew the turbocharger on my MQB Audi S3. Audi wanted almost $29,000.00. It turns out that all I needed was a new turbocharger and a cleaning of the impeller shards from my intercooler.
I just got this done and Audi quoted me $2500 for just the thermostat. Mine was covered by the extended warranty Audi has on all water pumps leaks.
2012 3.0tfsi turned out to be a mild hybrid as it burns 1l/5k km.
Now, I had to get the motor mounts and water pump replaced. Pump was leaking a bit, not taking chances with that.
I had a 2015 one, changed the oil every 6k miles, still burned oil at an alarming 500 miles/liter at 104k so I sold it. Timing chains also went at 102k.
Had to get water pump done on my A6 at 90000km / ~56000 miles. Was a couple years older than yours at the time, but still felt pretty low mileage to me.
I bought a brand new Q3 in 2019, didn’t use it that much only 15k on the clock with regular servicing until a few weeks ago I had two fuel injectors rupture which was pretty disappointing.
