Advics Brake discs

Need rotors now. Please just get normal rotors without drilled or slotted gimmicks…those are only necessary for a race track.

Pros: normal rotors recommended
Cons: drilled/slotted gimmicks
Part number: A6F023U, A6R044U

Advics Brake discs

Advics rotors and akebono brake pads, i think you can get those fairly cheap off rock auto $50 for rear rotors each and $70 for front rotors, brake pads are around $40 a set

Pros: fairly cheap

Advics Brake discs

i just did this replacement not too long ago on the front same year same mileage lol. my advice - buy the OEM Advics rotors off of lexus or rock auto. factory pads - replace the shim kits too. i bought centrics premium rotors but i probably should have gone with advics - the casting is definitely cleaner.

Pros: OEM Advics rotors, clean casting
Cons: Centrics rotors, poor casting
Vehicle: Lexus IS
Mileage: 96000 km

Advics Brake discs

OEM is first choice, or Advics Aftermarket, which are almost to the level of OEM. Dont bother with power stop if you are looking for performance and longevity.

Pros: almost to OEM level
Cons: not for performance, longevity
Vehicle: Lexus IS

Advics Brake discs

I decided to try Advics rotors when I did my brakes... they are (or were as of a couple years ago, now I see 2 part numbers on RA though) US-made, and near as I can tell they're *good* US-made. No issues in probably 30k miles, even with 150k+ old calipers.

Pros: good quality, US-made
Mileage: 30000 km
