Volvo XC90 parts reviews

I've gotten 3 volvo xc90 windshields replaced, all volvo brand at safelite. The 3rd one has been holding up fine.

Best I’ve found and have for all my vehicles to include my XC90! $50 but worth $250.

I miss our XC90 V8 (that needed new valve cover gaskets) every day.

Buy a used headlight using the part number that you can find on the headlight (under the bonnet, remove plastic cover that sits above the headlight). In Europe you can get full LED adaptive headlights for 300-350 EUR used. No programming necessary after installation.

Volvo uses a softer compound. I think they call them comfort brakes or something? I would always get about 40k miles out of my pads on my XC90. I switched to an Acura MDX and got 140k miles out of my pads. Volvo brakes work really well but I’ve never had a set last really long time.

I got the OEM one for my '21, and while it's nice, I feel like the gaps around it are a bit on the big side.

While the blades weren’t great, they were skipping across the windshield, especially in lighter rain. The tension was WAY off and after the tech adjusted it, I’ve been pretty solid the last 8 months. It works with the washer fluid or a car wash just fine.

Can’t stand them. Michelin Defender LTX would be my choice on the XC90

Absolute garbage, they only lasted 20k miles on my XC90 T8. Pretty bad in wet conditions also.

The Verdes came stock on my xc90 and they were terrible in inclement weather. It was a total game changer in the rain and snow once I upgraded to the Pirelli Scorpion AS Plus 3 based on a recommendation from a friend.
