im running reg bosch silvers (of course the right heat range) on my supercharged setup and they run perfectttt, no misfires or anything, i love bosch plugs
Best Spark plug for Volkswagen Jetta
That's what I am running in my wife's 94 and the idle in her car is real smooth...
I use Autolite plugs plat 1 cheepos that get me 400 miles per tank and seem to handle continuous high rpm output ( drove across the US in four days)
today I installed a NGK BK7RE to my jetta, and it feels great. I like them a lot, considdering I haven't change my stock sparks .
Same plugs I'm currently running - used them with my Jacobs ignition, and they work like a champ.....
NGK v-power's. they are the entry level plug but they work awesome. there's no real need to get super pimp plugs though, i mean, it's not like they are going to add 10hp or anything
I have used the Bosch Platinum +4's and I like them..... A bit pricey though.
i just changed mine out.. i put in the autolite 3923's ($4 for the set) . they seem to work fine. one thing to watch out for though - they were all gapped differently out of the package. be sure to measure the gap before putting them in, just in case. (the gap should be .028)
Platinum +4s are the worst plugs you can use. They have a bad habit of losing tips into the cylinders. I don't think I need to explain the results of that.
i've got some bosch silvers...and this happened after about 12k miles and currently (3k miles) later i'm getting similar symptoms as before.
