That's probably the kit I'd go with for my GLI. Again, as a daily driver... it meets the needs. The semi-metallic pads work good in many different temp ranges. However, semi-metallic pads also produce more brake dust, so you'll get more debris on your rotors faster. One of the other downsides is that they're more aggressive on the braking rotor because they're metallic, so you'll need to check your rotors more often for thinning.

Did the same as above. Put GLI brakes on my GLS 1.8t. More than enough stopping power. Cheapest way to get good braking.

Also my rear brakes say Bosch on the center of the pad so mine could be different from yours if yours aren’t showing the brand.

I personally run Zimmermann rotors and EBC pads. No issues during heavy braking. Definitely buy quality rotors, cheap rotors warp pretty quickly.

The 2nd one says without pad wear sensor, do I even need that? First one barely has a description, I don't even know which I should grab. Secondly, does my 2013 VW Jetta S 2.0 have rotors or drums in the back? I think I have rotors in the front? If rotors, what size do I even need because ECS is telling me I need 280x22, but deutsch auto is telling me a different pattern.

The only thing wrong with them are they are too soft, organic pads. Switch to a metallic pad.
