Best Engine oil for Volkswagen Golf

I ran this in my mk7 and my brother ran Castrol Edge Euro in his mk7. I have since sold mine but neither one of us had any type of engine/oil consumption issue and he still has with 130k on it.

Buy filters in bulk from RockAuto. Buy oil Castrol Euro Car from Walmart when it’s in sale.

I use Pennzoil platinum euro because its dirt cheap from walmart and meets all specs. 135,xxx kms so far on the same oil.

I just bought some LiquiMoly for my Golf R. Third Volkswagen that I’ve used LiquiMoly in. I always notice a significant difference after the first oil change with it.

Pá, uso óleo da VW ou LiquiMoly. O da VW é mais barato (ainda da última revisão comprei-o a €38/5L), é fabricado pela Shell. Eu usaria só óleos aprovados pelo fabricante. Verifica que o óleo atinja ou exceda os critérios por quem desenhou o motor

When it comes to oil, Ravenol is really good and is also Made in Germany, some even recommend it over VW or BorgWarner, as it is full synthetic and does not break down/sludge up as fast.

i use kroon oil , 5w40 on my mk6 R . i hear liqui moly is better but you do your own research based on the brand.

Eu 0w-30 folosesc la un golf 4 1.9tdi si sunt multumit, masina porneste foarte bine la frig, al meu drag motor mananca, si trebuie sa completez 100 ml la 5-600 km cv de genu.

Ho una Golf 7 1.4 TSI 122CV del 2014 quindi con motore EA211. Ha all'attivo 157000km, da quando ho fatto 140000 km devo rabboccare 1l di olio ogni 2700km.
