Seems like a good price for Koni Yellows. What does Koni say about running these with the stock springs? I don't want to drop, but the stock dampers are too slow IMHO...
i run 0w30 in my jetta 2.0. fully synth. have for 33,000 miles, no problems, other then better gas mileage
I retrofitted the Volvo shocks on my '82 Caddy. You can see the existing bushing/sleeve on the left and the modified one on the right: Installed:
I just changed my oil to Rotella T 5w40 Synthetic. It's great stuff. So far so good and the car runs smooth.
The tires are 205/40/16 Falken Azenis RT-615. The wheel adapters/spacers were purchased on here from Vtec-This-Vr, and are excellent quality. There is no rubbing and the car handles perfectly.
Just changed the oil in my 08 Jetta. went to Advance Auto parts and picked up 6 quarts of Mobile 1 0W 40 and a Fram oil filter.
Been using AMSOIL since day one of my first oil change. Damn good oil.
Textar is the OEM brand..which of course you can get from 1stVWparts.
I am still on 5w30 Mobil 1...
The front windshield does suck Had mine replaced after two weeks of ownership.
