I use Valvoline R&P 0w-20 and my engine sounds healthy. so does my mom’s Velar. I think whats more important is using the correct viscosity and changing it on time.

I have Continentals and love them, wouldn’t go with anything else personally

That Bosch VR6 alternator was not a direct fit, but significantly easier than the Delcos other Rover owners commonly used. My method was faster, cheaper and way more reliable.

Mine came with a nice set of IPF e-codes. I want to replace them with some Hellas to add the city light.
