I just missed the warranty period to replace the transfer case, but other than that and a few minor things (radiator overflow tank, washer fluid pump, occasional drain issue causing interior wetness, the car has been rock solid.
I love the Pirelli’s though, especially the Sottozero 2 on my 718. In the cold and dry, it doesn’t feel like you’re even giving that much up over the summer performance tires in summer, which is great.
I have a 2018 Macan GTS 70k miles. So far this is what I’ve done….upper and lower control arms, spark plugs, pdk serviced, brakes and new tires.
I had the same issue on one front light for my cayenne 2016. I am not a handy man and got advised from my mechanic that I replaced it, got replaced for 9000 dirhams for a used one and perfect since then. I didn\u2019t bother fixing, it had a hole in the silicon.
I just replaced brakes on all corners and saved about 50% vs dealership and they used OEM parts.
I bought Michelin’s for the 987 and 3 were current year, 1 was 3 years old. The vendor took the old one back and sent a new one as well as paid shipping within 4 days....... Most decent tire shops will move enuf volume that stuff is new..... the odd one slips by. I like new stuff, but if the 5's aren't available in the size you want its not like the last model wasn't awesome.
I used to daily my GT3 until it started feeling normal and lost that "specialness".
Something to do with the air suspension failing on the near side rear. They’ve replaced shitloads and it’s still fucked.
I own a 991.2 GT3 and its a terrible daily. No lane keep or radar cruise. No parking sensors. No keyless entry. Fixed carbon buckets. No heated steering wheel. Loud tire noise. etc.
