I slapped Michelin Defenders on my Lexus GX460 last month. No issues found so far. Northeast Ohio, near the PA border.

I bought R1 Concepts front rotors for my Lexus IS250 at 85k miles. My car sits at 143k miles 5 years later and they have been the BEST rotors i have ever used. I chose their Geomet coating, and they are so rust resistant it is ridiculous. I have zero rust on the veins or hub of my brakes at all after all this time. I have used Powerstop rotors in the past on numerous vehicles, but I find the zinc coating will always rust after a few years. The R1 Concepts geomet coating is the best in my experience.
Spent the extra dough (almost always worth it with these cars) and bought the Denso. It’s been perfect.
I just got my brakes and rotors on my ‘22 RX 350 changed not with OEM rotors/brakes, but Akebonos. On top of that, I got a full brake fluid flush. I feel the same “bite”. I don’t recall my OEM brakes/rotors having such bite, but I do feel quite safer because I can go from top speed to a full stop much sooner.
You are completely fine. I drive an LC500 in NJ. Put on the Michelins and rarely brakes tractions.
It isn't the car, it's the tire. I've been commuting in RWD LSs (first a 460, now a 500) for the last 13 years in Michigan with Bridgestone Blizzaks.
I live in Brooklyn and purchased the IS350 AWD last year and use the Michelin pilot sport all seasons and I've had no issues.
We went to an 18” square setup with Vredestein Wintrac Pros and it’s about as good in snow as her previous ‘16 IS300 F Sport AWD
I already replaced the spark plugs with the Denso ones I listed though... Is this bad?
Nope, they don’t fit whatsoever. Return them. The correct pads have 2 holes on the top corners, which are for the pad retaining pins unique to the 2IS rear calipers. The 3IS went back to the standard floating caliper design, for which these pads MIGHT fit. These pads you picked up are guaranteed to not fit your 2IS.
