Rating 5.0

I used to have a Jeep Renegade Trailhawk that I put Falken Wildpeaks on, and those were fantastic tires. Not terribly loud on pavement, excellent traction in rain, and they looked nice.

Pros: excellent traction, looked nice
Cons: Not terribly loud
Vehicle: Jeep Renegade

WAGNER Brake pads

I just changed my rear breaks and rotors on my 2018 limited and will be doing the fronts next week, I have always used Wagner Breaks and rotors. I have been using them for 20 years and 5 of those vehicles have been jeeps with zero complaints.

Pros: zero complaints, long use

Rating 5.0

When I bought my Jeep it came with 37’s on it and I didn’t want to downsize so I ended up with Kenda klever RT for 1300 for all 4 which is cheaper then the Mickey Thompson a I run now ???? but they performed pretty damn well through the winter very predictable tire when breaking free. Ran them for close to 50,000 miles

Pros: performed well through winter
Vehicle: Jeep
Mileage: 50000 km

OPTIMA Battery

I’ve had an Optima Red Top in my 2012 JK Rubicon for about 8 years. My mechanic recently said the battery is on its way out, and now the Jeep is struggling to turn over. I’ve heard Optima’s quality has dropped since I bought mine.

Pros: lasted 8 years
Cons: struggling to turn over, quality dropped

Falken Tires

On a totally non-Mazda related note I put Falken Wildpeak AT Trails on my Jeep just over a year and half ago. All four of them already have weather cracking. And Falken doesn’t have a specific warranty for that, you simply have to claim the warranty under their general six year manufacturing defects and materials and hope they give you some help. They start at 11/32, rated for 65,000 miles and after 20,000 miles they are already down to 6.5/32

Cons: weather cracking, wearing quickly
Vehicle: Jeep
Mileage: 20000 km

OEM Jeep Camshaft
NukedWorker
  • Engine noise:
Rating 1.0

Replaced 2 windshields, 2 cam shafts (under warranty), 3 phasers (something to do with timing I think, I'm not a mechanic), and a ground short (caused by them crimping a wiring harness when fixing a cam shaft). The other day my rear diff lock fault was flashing. Looking it up, it's a known problem, many people just bypass it. It went away for now, so I'm leaving it as is. I have a manual transmission and the clutch has had a recall on it for a year or more with no fix.

Cons: multiple part failures, clutch recall
Vehicle: Jeep
Mileage: 110110 km
