Zimmermann Brake discs

I went with the stock front 335i Grey 4 piston Brembo's (340mm rotors) and 2 piston Brembo's (345mm rotors) in the rear. I also went with stainless steel brake lines. I used the Zimmerman 2 piece rotors, I can't remember the pads, but I remember they weren't cheap. It stops really well for a daily driver.

Pros: stops really well

OEM BMW Brake pads

On my previous EV, a BMW i3, the brake pads were the same as the Mini Cooper (except for the 2014, which used a shaved-down pad for some reason).

Hankook Tires

Go with the hankooks, they wear like iron.

If you are new to tracking and do end up heat cycling them out, they are super consistent, which is way better to learn from.

Pros: wear like iron
Cons: heat cycling them out
Vehicle: BMW

BRIDGESTONE Tires

I use RE-71RS on my BMW M4 (3900 lbs) with Autocross since June and about 10 events so far and the outer shoulder blocks’ treads are about 50% worn. Took it to my first track day at NJMP Lighting and now outer shoulder are essentially slicks.

Pros: good for autocross
Cons: outer shoulder wear
Vehicle: BMW M4
