I've got the rs5 with ceramic front brakes, I'm looking to get the pads replaced, back ones are 100 for a genuine set, but front ones are nearly 1000 for a genuine set?! I inspect my front pads and see they are made by brembo and have audi branding on it. A little bit a research and I find OE equivalent pads from brembo for only 240. They felt the exact same to me on the track.
Some weekend progress after work, got the plugs changed out and fresh air filters are in.
I run OW-30 Liqui moly that doesn’t burn any oil either.
I’ve got Pirelli P-Zeros on my RS5 since the previous owner put them on recently before selling and I have to say that they are actually good despite what some people say. I actually felt like they handled better than the PS4S on my fathers old A45 AMG and while it might be down to the car I still am not disappointed.
Im using yellowstuff on an rs5 b9 , installed it couple of weeks ago first impression is it has a better bite than OEM, but i think yellows won’t hold the car for more than 1hr of heavy street driving which is bad. But i have to test it further to verify this.
