Windshield Tesla or OEM Hyundai

Tesla’s service is unmatched. I have the windshield warranty and got a crack in my windshield. It cost me a $100 deductible to repair it.

We just had our windshield replaced by Tesla for $577 and it lasted 6 years.

Sounds about right. 6 weeks after I got my new 2019 M3SR+, kids were throwing rocks at cars. The Model 3 was too new for Safelite to even have windshields for it. Tesla charged $1,200 to replace it before my deductible.

I've also had 3 windshields on the car and am about to file a claim for a 4th due to an irreparable chip growing into a huge spiderweb over the last 9 months.

I’ve had windshield cracked(small) in like first few months of getting the car as I go on long drives(cross country).

I’ve broken 2 from debris and 2 from heating it too fast during winter. Had Tesla for 4 years.

Two years ago, on my model 3, I had to replace 3 cracked windshields within the span of a couple months.

the juniper model y has a flawed windshield imo, been through 3 in 3 months.

I have a 2021 Hyundai venue and on two occasions now my windshield has spontaneously cracked while parked in my driveway from the lower corners of the windshield and both are going halfway across the windshield spontaneously sitting in my driveway in California I've never had this happen in any other car I've ever owned.

Between our model y and model 3, my wife and I replaced the windshields 6 times. Always a chip off the highway regardless of how much space we leave between us and the vehicles in front. It’s been a nightmare. The fact they are offering this now telling me that they know their windshield designs is flawed and this happens a lot despite being told otherwise by the service centers.
