Windshield OEM Honda or OEM FORD

Heated Windshield Hi, had one in my Ford Scorpio some 20 years ago! Fantastic piece of kit.

OEM glass+installed+camera aiming and recalibration is a BITCH. It's really costly and very unfortunate. You HAVE to use the OEM glass or you will pretty much render all of the driver assist features useless.

My Outer Banks I’ve had for 1 year as of this week. I replaced my windshield after 1 month for a crack and then two days later got another. I waited till I had 15 chips and cracks in it before replacing it again. Within a month had two more chips, the windshield is definitely a big problem

We are having the same issues with the windshields cracking and chipping quite easily. I wonder if Auto Manufacturer's went to a cheaper glass for cost cutting.
