Fortunately the factory Ford pumps aren't terribly expensive. M-8501-M50A is the Ford racing part number, includes: pump, pulley, bolts.
Otherwise, given the information you've shared, I think replacing the pump is a good idea.
I love My Jolin, its given me Better service than My Audi A3 sport back and A4 allroad.
I am budgeting in a water pump job too.
I own a tuned Audi, the only thing to go bad in it is the water pump which is a super common issue to the point Audi repaired it for free under extended warranty.
My 2022 s4 water pump failure at 42000km. Lucky it was under warranty. This is probably the last Audi I will buy. The quality sucks.
I'm currently driving a brand new Q5 while my car gets a new water pump. The dealership *apologized* for giving me that loaner Q5... lol. I honestly, really, truly hate it. It has a premium price, but sitting in it with all the plastic everywhere, does not feel premium.
I can\u2019t believe my Audi has a plastic water pump and that when it went it took the oil cooler with it. The damn thing died at 44k miles.
2013 A5 Cabriolet here. Most of what I read said the water pump should make it to around 100k. Mine went at around 85k.
My water pump in my 2020 S4 failed around 45K miles.
