Tires Uniroyal or Vredestein

Put a set of Vredestein Hitracs on my mom's CX5 and she loves them. Quiet and excellent in the rain.

The Vredestein Quatrac Pros on the HRV were the best all around tire I've had and I'm pissed they discontinued them in the size I need. Very quiet, 90% of real snow tire performance.

I chose the Vredestein Quatrac Pro's for my wife's ML350 4Matic. Quiet, handle well (for a beast that heavy) and good in the wet.

I like the Uniroyal Tigerpaw for my SUV. Good grip in winter weather, good wear, and just overall good bang for your buck!

Just bought a set of Ultrac Pro XLs for my 2013 Porsche Carrera S. Can't imagine Michelins being any better. Smooth, quiet, and great traction. I haven't really pused it with these tires, but smoothness through spirited corners feels excellent.

I just had the following installed on my mk3.5 cabrio (a Golf III for all intents and purposes) two months ago: 195/60R14 Uniroyal Tiger Paw Touring They have been good so far, no complaints on my end and they were available at my local tire shop for install.

These are awesome tires. I have them on my M3P and they don’t give up dry handling much while being a beast in the cold/snow.

Great feeling tires for sure, have them on my C7.5 S6, only issue I have with the tires are the side walls get weathered after a year, that’s personally the issue that I am having, and only tire i received is poorly balanced. Otherwise the tires feel great all around.

I have Costco's version of the Michelin Defender 2 (X Tour 2) on our Atlas and they have been great. I have also used a set of Vredestein Hitrac A/S, they're a great tire until the last half of the treat and they get absolutely rock hard and you may as well be on ice. I just replaced a set with plenty of usable tread left because they had suck little traction. Overall, I would suggest a Defender LTX M/S.
