The tires are Uniroyal Tiger Paw Ice and Snow 3 and the sizes are 205/55R16 91T. These tires have only been used for one winter season and are in very good shape.
Uniroyal is a great tire for the money. they are not the best in any one category but good across the board. I've had them on many cars over the years and had zero real complaints for the price.
If you're looking for a really good expensive tire I'd recommend Bridgestone potenza sport AS. Middle of the road good tire Firestone Firehawk ASv2. Cheaper really good tire Uniroyal tiger paw. Or general altimax rt45. Really depends on what kind of vehicle you have as to which of those I would choose. But you definitely need an alignment to make sure any of those tires will last their mileage warranty. But I will say the best price for mileage out of those tires is definitely the Uniroyal and General.
I've always been extremely satisfied with uniroyal tires
Customers who went with Uniroyal rarely had anything negative to say. Anyway, as far as cheap tires go, Uniroyal are pretty good quality, have some trickle-down effects of tire technology from Michelin, and overall are a decent option if you need new tires but don't want to spend a lot of money.
I had the rainsport 3, very good tyre. The walls are a bit soft though.
The crs were a bit pricey and didnt last long but they’re noticeable higher grip
I will say the nankangs also suffer more in the rain (could be temp related too, but feels like they don’t evacuate water as well)
Nankang CRS definitely is not top tier on Lincoln concrete. I'd honestly throw it below the RT660 on pace. Decent on asphalt and hot weather.
I've had Uniroyals for a bit more than a year now, and honestly I'm not so impressed. I find it they lack grip in heavy cornerring, and also the 1st gear spins like mad if you try to step on it.
