Tires Toyo or YOKOHAMA

Toyo Tires

I have them on mine. I love em. The only downside I've found is I don't get the mileage I did with the stock rubbers.

Pros: love them
Cons: less mileage

Toyo Tires

I ran the AT2’s on mine and got 70k out of them. Put the AT3’s on sometime in 2020-2021 and have 60k on them now. Great tire on road, off, in snow, rock crawling, etc.

Pros: great on road, off
Cons: uneven wear
Mileage: 70000 km

Toyo Tires

I liked mine A LOT. If you don't need to snow rating, see if you can find the AT 2 version as they're usually cheaper and carry the same tread warranty.

Pros: good tread warranty
Cons: snow rating needed
Mileage: 40000 km

YOKOHAMA Tires

82k on my 2020 and somehow still rocking the Yokohamas that came with it (just barely above wear bars now). I drive 120 mile round trips on the highway at least 3x per week and travel between 65-90mph. I've never had a single issue.

Pros: good durability, no issues
Vehicle: Subaru
Mileage: 82000 km

YOKOHAMA Tires

I also replaced my stock Yokohama tires on my OBW with the new wildpeaks AT4w for stronger sidewall and been quite happy with its offroad performance.

Pros: stronger sidewall, offroad performance

I just got the YK-CTX 225/55r19 on my ‘21 CX-5. Yokes is stiffer than the stock tires but happy with the less road noise, better grip and braking, and almost same MPG considering I’ve only driven them for 300+ miles.

Pros: less road noise, better grip
Cons: stiffer than stock
Vehicle: Mazda
Mileage: 482 km
Part number: YK-CTX 225/55R19

I personally went with C load with the Toyo AT’s. Came from BFG AT E load. No regrets. Not apples to apples, but between those two the Toyo in C was SIGNIFICANTLY softer in ride quality which was comfy both on and off road. Made daily commuting, long road trips, and off roading (especially on washboard) much more tolerable.

Pros: softer ride quality
