Tires Toyo or Uniroyal

Toyo Tires

Bit late, but I've ran Extensa HP II's on my car for the last 45,000 miles and just bought another set as my tread is down to the wear indicators. Wife's Passat also has the same tires. They've been great.

Pros: great tire, long lasting
Mileage: 45000 km

I have Toyo AT3s open country on my 15’ Outback. They have been great so far (10k miles). They can be a little noisy but it’s worth it.

Pros: great tire
Cons: a little noisy
Mileage: 16093 km

Now I have Uniroyal Rainsport 5 and they also have amazing grip, but the sidewall could be a little bit stiffer for my liking.

Pros: amazing grip
Cons: sidewall could be stiffer

Wild peaks are pretty quiet, I run Toyo Open Country AT 3 on the rest of my vehicles, not saying more quiet but a good tire also

Uniroyal Tires

on my 2015 I am riding in a set of Uniroyal AS Tiger paw 225 / 45 / R18. I really like them. I bought them new on eBay with stickers for about $600 (4) and had them mounted and balanced for $200.

Pros: really like them

Toyo Tires

I got a flat in less then a year and only 6k miles. It could be coincidental but my truck last I drove for 5 years with some Toyo and never had a issue. Plus I don’t think they’re very good in snow.

Cons: flat in less than year
Mileage: 9656 km
