I have the Toyo open country atiii on my ‘21 sport, and they handle the socal freeways pretty good for commuting and have been great in the rain we had recently. I did drop about 5-10mpg on ny mpg average.

Pros: handle freeways pretty good, great in rain
Cons: drop in mpg

Kumho Tires

I'm on my second set of Kumho all season, I don't think I'm missing out not spending the extra on Michelins. The Kumho have been awesome in the recent weather bomb.

Pros: awesome in recent weather

I’d recommend Toyo Extensa A/S II. I’ve got close to your size and found them to be very nice driving and quiet. Bought them last October for $107 each from Discount Tire in AZ.

Pros: nice driving, quiet

Kumho Tires

I have a set of Kumho all weather tires on the Ranger. They're better than the all seasons in the cold and rain, but they're not better in snow than the 10 year old 2/3rds worn out snow tires they replaced, and I ended up buying chains for them too.

Pros: better in cold and rain
Cons: not better in snow

Major tire recalls in 2025 involved Continental, Nitto, and Toyo for tread detachment/production issues, affecting many truck/SUV tires like Nitto Crosstek 2, Toyo Open Country, and Continental TerrainContact/Grabberlines.

Pros: tread detachment issues
Cons: production issues

Kumho Tires

I have not had good experience with this brand. They came on my wife’s car and started hydroplaning terribly after about 8,000 miles.

Cons: started hydroplaning terribly
Mileage: 8000 km
