Get the Toyo AT3's. I just got mine after extensive research. Falken wildpeaks are too heavy and BFG KO3's don't perform as well as the Toyo AT3's. You'll get 50k miles out of them. I've had BFG KO3s before and the Toyos are better. I drive year round in my Toyos and they're grippy, quiet and don't lose very much mpg. Had the Micheling Mud and snow tires and they didn't perform nearly as well as the Toyo AT3's.

Pros: grippy, quiet, good mpg
Mileage: 50000 km

The best AT tires I've ever had for severe cold and ice were the Toyo Open Country AT3. They feel like they have a softer compound than the KO2 or Falken's I've had. I'm in Nebraska so we get plenty of cold and ice.

Pros: softer compound, good in cold
Cons: ice is ice

Kumho Tires

I'm using Kum-hos Solus Majesty Ta91 275s. They're $181 each at Discount Tire and haven't encountered any issues while driving in hard rain on the highway

Pros: no issues in rain

Kumho Tires

I put a set of Kumho all weather with three peaks on my wife’s Elantra. Honestly they’re great. Are they as good as dedicated winters? No, obviously not but they’re damn good and capable.

Pros: great, damn good, capable
Cons: not as good as winters

Toyo GSI-6 (non-studded) or G3-Ice (Available studded or non-studded) tires are the best bang for your buck you can get. I have had nothing but good experiences with them on multiple cars. They're also very quiet which is a huge plus on a snow tire for me.

Pros: very quiet, good experiences

Kumho Tires

Used Kumho’s brand just fine in the past. But been several years as other tires I’ve looked at had better wet traction / price for my specific tire size so I’ve opted for others more recently.

Pros: fine in the past
Cons: better wet traction needed

Kumho Tires

Not same model # but I just ran Solus on my Elantra, they were OEM from 2023 and got about 50,000 miles on them. Awful in the snow and not great in heavy rain, but if you live in a mild climate and can avoid bad weather as needed they get the job done.

Pros: 50,000 miles
Cons: awful in snow, not great rain
Mileage: 80467 km

Was recommended awhile back and had Kumho Ecsta. Not great. Went back to Michelin tires. Cost more, but a huge difference in noise, comfort and traction when wet.

Cons: not great, noise, comfort
