I got Sumitomo HTR A/S P03 tires put on my car last October. I live in Wisconsin and am frequently in NW Wisconsin/MN/SD. They were great for me last winter and are pretty quiet during the summer and solid in the rain. I’ve put over 25k miles on them in a year and still no complaints and limited wear. They were a middle-lower cost option when I bought them on Tire Rack and installed for free at Discount Tire. I’ll probably buy them again. I’ve heard they’re a little soft and wear fast though? That’s not been my experience yet but just what I’ve read.
I have the Sumitomo Encounter AT's on my frontier. Good reasonably priced tire.
Sumitomo HTR A/S PO3s have been able to handle anything that comes our way.
We wore out the OEMs at 40k and picked up a set of Sumitomo P03 tires. Extremely happy with them. They're not strictly EV tires so there's some efficiency loss (maybe 5-10%?) but the car is much grippier, especially in wet and slushy conditions. Also, it's just way more comfortable of a ride. Kind of doubt they'll last through the manufacturer warranty of 50k miles but also it was just under $100/tire installed at DiscountTire so I'm not terribly concerned
Burned through my stock tires super fast. They lasted 16k miles. Got me some Michelin CrossClimate IIs and they still look almost brand new, even after 35k additional miles.
I've just fitted my third set of tyres. First two sets lasted 36k and 45k (km).
Reviews say its major shortcoming is that it generates a lot of loud noise.
2 sets of rubber on her for a total of 40,000km in 18 months.
This car can’t hold a REAR alignment and eats tires.
only issue i have is the car eats tires, 10-12k miles a set currently
