Nokian's with full face studs and two bags of sand in the trunk worked well for me.
We will most likely be driving with Nokian Hakkapeliitta R5 tires and using snow chains if needed.
Been running Nokian’s several years now. They are winter rated ( not all seasons) don’t change them at all . 30,000 now still pretty ok .

Sumitomo wt200, vozio kroz 4 države po autoputu po snegu bez problema, ništa proklizavanje, ništa šlajfovanje. Jedino zanosi malo po parkingu gde nije ništa čišćeno i pretvorilo se u bljuzgavicu.

Make sure you have proper winter tires though, the nokians are excellent
Studded Nokian studded tires make all the difference.
I drove to Chicago and back on Saturday with a set of Nokian all season tires and only fishtailed once when making an ill advised lane change at speed.
Nokian WRG3s were the loudest tire I've owned by far when worn, even louder than the cheap studded winters that replaced them. Also had tons of dryrot at 4 yrs old.
