Tires Pirelli or YOKOHAMA

I put G015's on my 2021 premium around January and they did not lose traction a single time through last winter in Upstate NY. Took them through the Adirondacks with ≈8" of snow on forest roads to get to a ski mtn. Great upgrade imo over the stock G91F's

You can pick up used Pirellis from GT Americas. If you've never been to the Nashville race people haul away tires from the Pirelli tent all the time.

Yokohama geolander G015 is a great tire

Yokohama the best for XC90. Michelin great as always but Yoko wears well, soft, quiet, and comfortable. Grips well too.

I’ve had these tires for almost 7 years in FL on my Toyota Camry. I’m really only considering new tires because I moved to the cold. They’ve made it to about 60k miles in those 7 years and even drove me across the country.

Have a 2021 Tiguan SEL with Pirelli Scorpion tires, 29,000 miles and the tires are still "green" for tread. Probably get 45,000 out of these.

V730s are underrated imo. Very good tire for the money.

I have the Ascend LX as my summer set but I couldn't quite find a direct comparison talking about the LX compared to the GT The LX's are supposed to have been rated for 85K, but they're already at 6/32s after 25K. Other than that I haven't had much of an issue with them

Not the answer to your question, but I just wanted to add that when I got snow tires (Pirelli Sotozero- avoid them) I also got a set of closeout 18" wheels. Having the extra sidewall when you hit potholes and/ or ice chunks helps save the rims.
