I replaced mine with Pirelli scorpion weatheractive. So far a little under 10k on them and no issues.
Got these yesterday can confirm they are way better then the pirellis so far
Smoother and quieter
Got mine from discount tire @ 10k miles. Didn’t get any snow with the oem Pirellis but can confirm the defenders are AMAZING in light snow (ATL). No regrets
Just installed these on my 22’s and way too early to speak to range but the grip is way better than the default pirellis (particularly on the snow we have had) though there is slightly more road noise
I have the 119 version of these same tires on my R1T and haven’t noticed a range difference vs the original pirellis
Have these in 22 and they're infinitely better than the default scorpions. Range is comparable if not slightly better by maybe 5%
Pirelli Angel GT or GT2. Works in a broad range of temperatures, predictable. And plenty grippy to drag pegs.
I've had these for four summer seasons on my GSW (17" version) and about 15k miles total. Very grippy. They were great until this past summer, and generally quiet, but one developed a defect whereby it's making a loud rhythmic thumping noise at low speed.
I just bought an F150 with pretty new Pirelli tires. My old one ran Michelins. The Pirellis just don't ride and perform nearly as good.
I am sure Pirelli makes plenty of good tires but I was shocked how terrible the OEM P Zero summer tires were that came on my 2016 mustang. Equivalent summer tires from both Michelin and Continental were quieter, had better grip when hot, had better grip when cold, and performed better in the rain.
