Tires Pirelli or Kumho

Pirelli Tires

Pirelli rears are stupid good and tell you everything they are doing or will do plus the slides are much more controlled.

Pros: stupid good, controlled slides

Pirelli Tires

2020 gtr I threw on Pirelli P zero A/s+ a week after buying the car, they’ve been working great. No complaints and driving spiritedly is a lot more controlled

Pros: driving more controlled

Pirelli Tires

Having read all that above, I must say I’ve replaced multiple sets of tires and ride my 959 pretty aggressively on the street through the north central PA mountains and have never had a grip issue. I use Diablo Rosso 3s and get about 1500 miles from a set

Pros: good grip, aggressive riding
Cons: 1500 miles from set

I\u2019ve had no complaints with the stock 18\u2019 Pirelli P-zeros that came on the SE, especially how well they handle snow.

Pros: Handles snow well
Vehicle: Volkswagen

Pirelli Tires

I do a decent amount of gravel or clay road driving with some but less sand too. Decided to go Pirelli Scorpion A/T plus and there's been no issues at stock hieght.

Pros: no issues at stock height

Kumho Tires
Samson
  • Noise:
Rating 3.0

The OE tires (Kumho Solus KL21) still have probably 25% of the tread remaining, so they're not in need of replacement for that reason... even though they have become pretty noisy and have a bit of feathering around the edges.

Cons: pretty noisy, feathering edges
Mileage: 64373 km

Kumho Tires

Kuhmo TA31 is used as OE on some vehicles. It’s been ok in all season performance but absolute garbage on snow.

Pros: ok in all season performance
Cons: garbage on snow
