Ive found tires on amazon for pretty cheap, even compared to tirerack, etc. And decent brands like pirelli and kumoto
Would definitely recommend either of these to anyone. Dual sport is the way to go and these 2 give a more offroad vs more on road choice.
I wrecked hard on gravel with stock tires, went with Kenda big blocks and got all my confidence back. Little different on the road, would only recommend if you do more off road riding.
I can recommend Kenda Big Blocks, they’ve been great on every surface I’ve been on. I’ve done 4800km trip over two weeks and they held up ok. They lasted about 9000km in total.
For what it's worth the factory tires on my cbr300 were shockingly shit. When warm, however, is like your bike being on a railroad track. I swear they are vacuum powered or something, best upgrade in feel/confidence in the world.
I just changed my Pirellis with Michelin last week. The Pirellis have amazing grip but for commuting they wore within a year. The Michelins that I just got are better for touring. So I would recommend the Michelins!
I put Pirelli Angel GT on my CBR500 and they were insane. Stuck like glue and held up pretty well in terms of wear. A good value pick in my opinion.
I had these, but the 12.5’s on my JL i traded in for the gladiator. They were good for all but ice. My jl’s stock ko2’s were far better in the snow/ice and i actually missed having them. Live in Alaska so half the year slipping around wasn’t ideal lol. Just some info for anyone looking at these tires
This is a common issue with those pirellis not only on volvos. They are junk.
Had these tires for 4 years with approximately 50,000 km on them. I noticed that 1 out of 4 is starting to crumble like this. I mainly do city driving.
