I got Pirelli Scorpion Winters for my 22. In past on other vehicles have had tons of success with Blizzaks and on cars where performance was less a concern even Generals. Older S4 (‘13) ran Michelin X-ice. Good luck!
I have Sottozeroes on my A4. Great tire.
Sotto zeros for my A6. Great control and initial bite, fairly priced for 19" sizing.
I put Pirelli Scorpion All Terrain Plus SL tires on my truck last December and love them. When I did my research they were closely rated to BFG All Terrains which I had on my last truck. I haven't noticed any flat spotting and I work from home so my truck has gone almost a week without moving on a regular basis.
I ran Supercorsa SP's on my track bike that I also sometimes took on the road. They had plenty of grip for my quick intermediate pace. They don't last long though
I'm running Rosso 4 Corsa's on my S1000RR, in the fast group. I've had no issues what-so-ever running them and they have a deeper profile compared to sp v3's, which also improves its tire life.
The Pirelli’s I’ve only have the Diablo Rosso 2s but they make amazing tires the Rosso2 was amazing on the Diavel more grip than the Michelins but I was lucky to get 5k miles out of them.
So I went ahead and purchased a set of Pirelli P Zero. What I am concerned about is that when I asked about the DOT date, the guy at the tire shop told me that the tires were made in the 24th week of 2016.
Anecdotal, but I have Perelli Scorpions on my suv and will never get Perelli again. They wore unevenly and well short or their mileage and Perelli basically gave me the finger when I contacted them about the warranty.
Pirelli tires weather crack fast.
