Opposite datapoint: I run Pirelli Race TL Rs 700x30s on my Gen 7 Madone (tubeless FWIW). Way more comfy than the OE 25s (R3) and faster.

Pros: more comfy, faster

Naka angel CT rear (metzeler front ) since 2021 with at least 8k odo running. Parang matigas na yung side threads pag di gaano nag lean. Sarap lihain.

Pero nung bagong bili sya, kahit basa confident ako sa unexpected leans.

Pros: confident ako sa unexpected leans
Cons: matigas na yung side threads
Mileage: 8000 km

Pirelli are suppose to be good performance tires but from my past personal experience being soft they don’t last long. Unless you are racing on every red light, switch.

Pros: good performance tires
Cons: don’t last long

The "high performance" Perelli's that came with my Mustang GT became useless lumps of rock hard rubber at any temperature below 40F, despite being all-seasons. It was bad enough to be a significant driving hazard even on completely dry tarmac. Quickly switched out for Michelins.

Cons: driving hazard, rock hard

Pirelli PZeros came stock on my Mustang GT and they were awful. They used to break loose all the time, I thought about trading the car in the first year because it handled like shit. Then I found a screaming deal on a set of Michelin Pilot Sports so I swapped them at 9000 miles. Night and day difference, it’s like a different car now.

Cons: awful, break loose
Mileage: 9000 km
