They are more quiet than my original continental tires and 150 less per tire, with better specs than original
I love the Pirelli’s though, especially the Sottozero 2 on my 718. In the cold and dry, it doesn’t feel like you’re even giving that much up over the summer performance tires in summer, which is great.
Just swapped from the OEM 20” Pirelli Scorpions to the Goodyear Wrangler Territories and it’s near perfect now.
I got a set of Falken Pro G5\u2019s and 20 inch rims when my first set wore out. \nTires and rims were cheaper than a new set of 22\u201d anything. \nNow I can rotate so should get longer life as well.
I think the Pirellis, specifically the front, in combo with deleting RHDs, will make the racing great again. I have used Michelin & Pirelli's track tires. Pireliis are way more balanced. Less feedback/squish but much more support and better heat management.
I moved to Falken Wildpeak AT4W 265/70/17’s on my non-lifted 2020 TRD Sport last year. No rubbing whatsoever.
I put Falken Aklimate's on my Honda Fit and it was night and day in the snow, they're also quieter in the summer.
These wore down so quick for me… great at first but the durability is not there.
I have had experiences with many tires models on CX-5, my shop basically agreed Scorpion has to be one of the worst tires to recommend to customer for all the reasons you mentioned. These tires has worse road feel than even Westlakes
My initial PZeros have a tire bulge at 13k. I think they were 80% down anyhow.
