Tires Pirelli or Falken

Falken Tires

my 205/45/17 on a 9 in front. Don't run a 40 series, the a 205/45 Falken 512 is just as small as a 205/40 of any other brand. the tire is just that small. Trust me.

Pros: small tire
Cons: run a 40 series

I've been happy with my Pirell P-Zero Nero M+S... Good in cold, wet, slush, muck and even a few inches of snow... very good in the dry too.

Pros: good in cold, wet

My original Pirelli's were loud after 10K miles. I couldn't wait to get rid of them. The Yoko's are very quiet with exceptional handling characteristics.

Pros: very quiet, exceptional handling
Cons: Pirelli's were loud
Mileage: 10000 km

Well Evan Tire of San Diego did a remarkable job. They'd installed a new left tie rod, 2 Falkine 912 tires and performed a wheel alignment. I took it for atest drive then hit the highway. I love the feel of the car now. Lowered cener of gravity, steering response is a bit more accurate with less body roll.

Pros: steering response more accurate
Cons: none
Vehicle: Audi TT

Including like new Pirelli P Zero Rosso 275/40ZR19, these puppies were $1380 delivered. The rims are flawless and I can recoup some money by selling the "B" centers. Tonight they are go on the car.

Pros: rims are flawless

I have 225/40/18 912's on my 18x8.5 and they stretch enough to clear my fenders. And I am pretty low. They are very quiet and are very good in the rain. I can take puddles at normal highway speeds and not even feel it. I have had them for about 10k miles and I have noticed little if any tire wear.

Pros: very quiet, good in rain
Cons: stretch enough
Mileage: 10000 km

Falken Tires

They are \"ok\" in the rain. They like to skate around a bit, but nothing major. Definitely manageable in non-downpouring conditions.

Pros: manageable in rain
Cons: skate around a bit

I could tell driving these in 45 degrees that they had turned to rock and grip was seriously lost. NEVER drive them in the snow.

Cons: grip seriously lost
