Tires OEM Toyota or OEM Honda

My wife DDs a 2007 Fit. It has been bulletproof with only regular oil changes and tires. The folding rear seats are one of the highlights of the car and make it extremely versatile. It gets 35+ mpg all day long and handles like a go kart. She loves it.

We've just been through the worst winter in many years and our matrix has done very well with the factory tires. If you're not going off road fwd is fine. The deepest unplowed snow I drove through was about 8 inches and I felt like that was pushing it.
