Go for Giti or even their more popular variant in motorsports, GT Radial. They're pretty affordable and have been loving them on our Ranger.
We just wrapped up our tire test showdown as we put six leading touring tires to the ultimate performance test across all conditions.
Wondering how tires like Giti Control P10, Michelin Primacy 4 ST, and others performed on a BMW F30.
I’ve got the Giti tires that were “developed” with VW and I’ve gotten over 60k with mine. Granted they are about to the wear bars now and need replacing.
Just got a 2021 sq5 today, comes with 5 year CPO, so it has like 3 years left. My intention is to drive it for 4-5 years, they quoted me like 3.5k CAD after tax for two years. So ill have factory warranty until 2028.
I live in Utah and have Giti Champiro tied on my Kia Rio. They are very good tires, ride well, and are somewhat quiet. They are as good as Hankooks or Goodyear. The are somewhat lacking in ice but nonetheless really good tires.
Ive heard of laufenn but im more familiar with Giti as you see there stuff rebranded in the US as GT Radial and Dextero which are popular in discount tire and walmart. They’re a good budget tire but dont expect 50k out of them. I find most budget tires feel just as good as the more expensive stuff with their longevity being the main drawback
Other than that you will go through tires pretty rapidly(30k average) and brakes(50k average)
Never heard of Giti before, which is not a good sign. After Looking them up, the reviews aren't great.
Tried the ff: Dunlop EC300+, Michelin Primacy 4 ST, Bridgestone Dueler, Giti & Arrivo (forgot the model)
A friend is currently using Giti tyres and according to him, madulas daw? Drove his car thrice already, but can’t feel the madulas part.
Whatever you do, don’t get the Giti comfort tires that came on the Passat. They’re dog water at everything, treadwear, wet or try traction, road noise.
