Tires Nokia or Sailun

Nokia Tires

Ive got Nokian WRG5s on mine, as we’ve got some pretty serious winter driving where I live, and I’ve been pretty happy with them.

Pros: pretty happy

We have Blizzaks on one vehicle and Nokian Hakkapolita on the other. Of the two, I prefer the Hakkas but that may be more to that I prefer that vehicle more. Either are very good but don’t forget to drive to the conditions.

Pros: very good

Nokian Hakkapellitas with studs on all 4 of our vehicles. For winters I go premium. Makes a huge difference

Have a set of Hakka 10 studded on my Ram 1500 rwd work truck and they are PHENOMENAL!

Central Canada here for reference and these tires are amazing on wet/clear roads and great in icy conditions with a couple hundred pound over the rear axle.

Pros: amazing on wet/clear roads

Sailun Tires

I have just about 10k miles on my Sailun ERange and I have found them to be a great purchase. I noticed better traction in rainy/wet conditions and a slight decrease in noise. I just need to experience some snow and ice to see how they do.

Pros: better traction, less noise
Mileage: 16000 km

They're actually pretty good especially for the price in terms of snow and ice performance. Very comparable to the top brands. It's a bit louder though.

Pros: good snow and ice performance
Cons: a bit louder

Sailun Tires

Sailun makes a great tire for the price though, I ran my last set of ATs for 50,000 kms and still had enough tread life to get $200 for them on Marketplace.

Pros: great tire for price
Mileage: 50000 km

Initial impressions after 50 miles. The ride quality isn’t noticeable different than the OEM tires. I THINK they might have a tiny bit more noise. Driving this weekend I can first say the new tires are a smoother and quieter ride. I can say for sure that there tires are not significantly better or worse than the OEM tires.

Pros: smoother and quieter ride
Cons: tiny bit more noise
Mileage: 50 km

Nokia Tires

For anyone considering the Nokian One, be aware that they wear fast on heavier vehicles (SUV or minivan). I have about 30,000km and they are past the 60% indicators.

Cons: wear fast on SUV
Mileage: 30000 km
