Tires Nokia or Sailun

Nokia Tires

I\u2019ve run studded Nokians exclusively now for years. Never going back. What you give up in dry traction you more that make up for on those super hard packed icy days. Especially if you\u2019re running on the highways frequently.

Pros: good on icy days
Cons: less dry traction

Rating 4.5

I’m running sailun Erange EV tires. So far no complaints, run great in dry conditions and in heavy rainfall. Just be careful cornering fast in the rain, I started losing traction lol… They’re efficient, cheap, have a high tread wear life and perform well in wet/dry conditions. As quiet if not more quiet than the stock Michelins that came on my 22’

Pros: great in dry, great in heavy rainfall, efficient, cheap, high tread wear, quiet
Cons: loses traction fast in rain

Studded all the way! Had Hakkas on my RAV4 and they made such a difference. They can save your life on black ice.

Pros: made such a difference
Cons: slide on dry asphalt
Vehicle: Toyota

If this is your first time, yes get some studded tires, something like a Hakkapelitta.

Pros: good for new drivers
Cons: loud, studs wear

I drove on mine up to the base of mount Seymour a couple days ago before the plow started clearing the road. However I made it fairly easily to the first parking area and had to park as I wouldn’t make it to the lodge parking. Made it down without issue too. On fresh snow I found them a bit squirrelly but nothing too bad.

Pros: made it down
Cons: a bit squirrelly
