Tires Nexen or YOKOHAMA

Ciao tutti, riprendo questo mio thread perché dopo un paio di giorni di ricerca avrei adocchiato le Nexen N'Fera SU4 XL che pare abbiano un buon rapporto qualità-prezzo (le ho trovate a 57€ l'uno). Tyre-reviews ha delle ottime recensioni a riguardo.

Got a flat replaced with a neven tire and it barely wore at all after 15000 miles, replaced the other 3 when they wore out with nexen tires and they grip well. No problems at all.

I run Yokohama advan sport v105s that run between 5-600 a tyre and they’re excellent. Softer rubber so they ware a bit quicker but it’s worth it for the grip… they’re an all year tyre too.

July 4th coming up. There will def be sales. Get tires with more tread, 85000 if possible. Yokohamas (avid ascend) can usually be found for decent.

I think the yomohamas are awesome. Got some for the stock size for my 2010 sport and its a smooth ride for sure, def cuts down road noise too imo and i came from some firestone tires.. Treadwear rating on those will also last you quite a while, just keep up to date with those tire rotations.

I had AD09’s on my GT4 when I had it and loved them. Not as much ultimate grip as some tires named in here but grip was great and you just couldn’t kill them, you could hammer them for 30 minute sessions and they wouldn’t fade, lasted a ton of track days

I prefer the Yoko AD09, they are consistent and manage heat well.

They aren't top tier but they aren't completely garbage either. Good tire if you're not trying to break the bank

I got duped by a tire salesman... He sold me 2017 date brand new nexen roadians.

They are wearing in weird ways. Now they have little chunks come out from the side, as if I was going through gravel roads.

I purchased a new Skoda Fabia estate 27 months ago with Nexen tyres fitted. The tyres are very noisy and the dealer has advised that they should be replaced. The road noise on the Nexen is unbelievable and the noise changes with the road surface. Very dissapointing
